Once a year, a boy and a girl from each district in the country of Panem is chosen to fight to the death in the arena. The victor is rewarded with riches and fame, and for a year their district won't go hungry. Training potential tributes beforehand is strictly forbidden.
Which is why if anyone asks, Annie Cresta will just say that she's a member of an elite sports club.
After all, there's nothing illegal about that.
